My first awesome Selfie Advent Calendar. When you open a window, you will see a traditional Advent figure. For example Santa Claus with Christmas presents. Now click on the photo symbol and you will be able to place yourself or your family in the midst of the presents. Or put on the famous Santa Claus cap. This calendar allows you to create a unique set of selfies for Advent and you may share them with all your friends via social media. You create your personal calendar day by day until you have completed your pleasant work on December 24th. And share each Advent selfie, which you like. If you wish, take a new picture from any of the open windows. Obviously, the starting date is December 1st. But you can familiarize yourself with your upcoming pleasure even before December 1st with three examples available all the time by opening the ‘floating present’ on the top to the left of the gingerbread house. Show your talent!

Attention: For the safety and protection of children the sharing functionality is disabled by default and must be unlocked by parents - just solve a simple math problem either in settings (where the lock can also be enabled again) or when clicking the first time on the sharing button.

The three ‘gift examples’ help you to understand the three types of selfies, which you can create: Firstly, you may become an Advent figure. For example, when you open a window, you see a snowman. Click on the photo button and you can put your face, where there is the head of the snowman. When you open more windows, you will be surprised with more Advent figures. Or you may find a new challenge, namely the second type of selfies. Now you may take a photo showing you together with some Advent icon such as reindeer horns. If you open more windows, more such icons will appear. The third type of selfies may be somewhat challenging. For example, you can take a photo that shows you sitting in your room, but in front of you, what a miracle, you see many, many Christmas presents. Maybe you wish to take that selfie together with your parents?

This app makes an effort to boost your creativity: Some selfies are more of a challenge than others. Don’t give up, when the first selfie, which you create, doesn’t meet your expectations. Try again until you find the ideal position. The 3 ‘gift images’ offer you a convenient opportunity for learning until you will be able to save truly awesome selfies. And share all well-taken selfies with friends and family.

Some features When you open the app, you see a gingerbread house with 24 windows as well as a ‘floating present’ in the top-left corner. Assume the current date is December 3rd. Then the windows 1, 2 and 3 can be opened. Trying to open another window shows you a lock in front of the window. Then you understand that it’s too early: You will have to wait one or more days until you can open that window. If you cannot open any window, then you are still in November. Click on the ‘floating present’ and use the 3 pictures, which you can open there, in order to learn creating awesome Advent selfies. Click on the photo button at the right side below the picture in order to create a selfie. If you don’t like your work, just don’t save it. Then go back using the backward button to the left below the picture, which brings you one step back, and try again to create a selfie that pleases you. Bingo! You have made it! Now use the share button in the middle in order to send your masterwork to your friends and relatives via social media.

The Advent tradition is well-established in those regions and countries, where the birth of Jesus Christ is celebrated on December 24th. This is a day of joy. Therefore, the idea behind the Advent calendar is: Feel some of the happiness already before – every day from the first of December onward!
